When did life become so busy

Everyone is so busy and in such a rush. Cars zooming along, people bumping into each other, head down eyes void of any interest in their surroundings.

Has it come to this, with life speeding past us that we really have forgotten to smell the roses, to embrace nature, to live in the moment and really see who we are.

When did life become so busy.

I was inspired to write this because I  have slowed down recently, and it has helped me see how much of a rush we are all.
